On May 9, 2023, the Tecno Camon 20 was released. The design is basically the same as other members of the series, except for a few changes. The frame is glossy, which makes it quite slippery, meaning it could fall off your hand easily if you don’t have a case on it.

At the bottom of the device, you get a down-firing speaker, a USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack. There is also the SIM tray on the left side of the phone, which can take two SIM cards and an SD card.

The display is an AMOLED display, which is nice to see. It measures 6.67 inches with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. However, you don’t get the high refresh rate, but you do get an always-on display.

The Tecno comes with the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It can play your games just fine. But at some point, you’ll start noticing frame drops. So it might not be a good idea to buy this phone just for its gaming capabilities.

It comes with Android 13 and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage options. But if that is not enough for you, you have space to insert an SD card and expand the storage.

It does not support 5G. So if 5G is something that you’re interested in, you might want to look at the Camon 20 Pro 5G or the Camon 20 Premier.

As for the cameras, the main lens is 64 MP, while the front camera is 32 MP. It can only shoot 2K videos at 30 fps, but it can also shoot 1080p videos at 30 fps. It does not have any image stabilization of any sort.

So overall, I think the Tecno Camon 20 has a better design, a better display, and a good processor. I love the portability and the simplicity of this design.
